Close to your business. Accountable for the build.
A clear brief is welcome. So is a conversation that starts with “we could be doing this better.” Our job is to turn either into a practical way forward.
01Understand
We talk to the people doing the work and trace a real task across your tools. A finished brief is welcome, but never required.
A shared picture of the problem and the opportunity.
02Prioritise
We weigh value, effort, risk and dependencies. An existing tool or a small integration may solve more than a large new build.
A practical scope with clear responsibilities.
03Build
We deliver reviewable pieces, test realistic workflows and bring your team into the decisions that affect their day-to-day work.
Working software, reviewed with the people using it.
04Improve
We observe what happens after release, maintain the system and make the next useful change. Delivery starts a feedback loop.
An informed next step, based on how the system performs.
Understand the work.
We talk with the people doing the work, review the tools they use, and follow a real task from start to finish. Where does information get lost? What needs repeating? Which decisions are difficult because the right data is missing?
If you already have a specification, we review its assumptions, dependencies and acceptance criteria. If you do not, discovery gives us a shared picture before we choose a solution.
Choose what is worth changing.
We weigh the expected value against complexity, cost, risk and the effort required from your team. Improving an existing tool may be the right answer. So may a small integration. Custom software earns its place when simpler options leave a meaningful gap.
We agree the scope, responsibilities, access requirements, milestones and what successful delivery will look like. Commercial terms depend on that scope.
Build with your team in the loop.
Work is broken into reviewable pieces. We make the important trade-offs visible and ask for feedback while changes are still easy to make. Your team sees the parts that matter to their work, rather than waiting for one big reveal.
We test realistic workflows, including permissions, failed requests and incomplete data. Changes to live systems are planned around data protection, continuity and recovery.
Deploy, observe, improve.
Delivery includes a considered release, the relevant handover, and clarity about who owns the system. We check whether people can use it for the intended job and whether the agreed acceptance criteria are met.
Ongoing work can cover maintenance, new requirements and improvements informed by real usage. We agree that support separately so responsibilities remain clear.
Let’s find your
next improvement.
Tell us what you want to build, what is getting in the way, or simply where you are today.
Discuss your project No finished brief needed. What happens next
- Tell us what is happening.A short description of the work, problem or opportunity is enough.
- We examine the fit.We ask about the people, process and tools involved before suggesting a solution.
- We agree a useful first step. You leave with a clear scope, next action and honest view of what is still unknown.
A conversation can start before you have a technical specification or a fixed budget.
